The Brief
This begins through our initial consultation, where we discuss how our clients wish to get the most out of their property, we take the time to learn about your vision, style and personality. We also ensure that all other important factors such as budget planning and timescales, along with any other administrative requirements are fully covered, which will allow us to create an all-encompassing detailed design proposal. Following on from this, our clients will receive a proposal outlining the brief as we understand it, an estimated budget and our associated design fee schedule.
Design Development
Our key focus is to ensure that our clients receive a full understanding of our proposed designs which we communicate through concept design boards. Spatial planning options with floorplans and sketches will illustrate FF&E positions. Proposed samples where necessary, of finishes and joinery concepts will allow our client to understand the overall style and feel within each area of the project. This developmental stage of the project becomes highly collaborative and we welcome and encourage our clients feedback.
The Details
With the final concepts having been approved ready for sign off and the design detailing refined, we present our clients with beautifully orchestrated mood boards. Detailed plans and elevations also highlight any bespoke furniture and joinery designs, a specification document will provide our client with all the necessary details, as well as a fully itemised breakdown of the costs involved to deliver our clients project in line with the agreed budget.
The End Result
The final design and Installation stage is co-ordinated through a detailed schedule of works which will be outlined and agreed between the designer and client. We also plan in weekly conference calls, arrange regular site visits and work closely with any other contractors to ensure all elements of the project are progressing and design detailing is being meticulously met. We are passionate about all aspects of design on site and it is paramount that we deliver our clients brief successfully. When the final snagging elements have been completed and the last of the accessories put in their place, only then we like to hand over and sign off the project to our client.
